Some cuteness amid the chaos

One of Emma's primary teachers is getting married and this will be her last Sunday. The other teacher had such a cute idea! They are having a little wedding shower for her at the end of class and Emma was asked to fill out this sheet. I had to save a copy for her, for when she gets married. (Unfortunately it seems to download blue?)

Noah's were "Remember to play games."; "Kiss each other everyday"; and "Hug alot". He drew a picture of a robot cleaning her house and giving her drinks of water. Things our kids have said

When writing things we love about each other for our Valentine Family Home Evening, Emma wrote that she loves that Jordan is "ignopshish" (obnoxious). 2/13 Jordan hit his head on the trampoline frame resulting in a cut. "I now have a dent in the landscape of my head." 10/12 Emma at her baptism preview, raises her hand and asks: "Do we have to wear underwear under the jumpsuit?" "But why?" 3/12 Jordan while praying: "Bless us that our dreams will be of ponies, flowers, and butterflies." 3/12 Jenna: "Dad, you got the booyah!" (When Dad won a game) 3/12 After watching the movie "Journey 2" Jordan to Dad: "You know that thing you can do with your nipples?" (referring to flexing pectoral muscles) "I can do it with my bum cheeks." "Watch! Throw a berry." 12/11 Jenna: " Vevember when...?" Jenna: "Daddy's the big of the bomb!" 7/11 Emma at Golden Corral, "If I could just burp I could probably eat more." 6/11 Jenna with hands on hips, while combing Daddy's hair: "No, No, No, this just wont do. Your hair is just too boingy!" 1/11 Emma to Jenna in the car: "Pinky swear that we will always be sisters!" Jenna: "Daddy, I'm gonna tickle your laughs out" 11/11/10 We were talking about the song "Pants on the Ground" from American Idol. Jordan said "Like a geezer...I mean like a gangster" 11/12/10 Part of Jordan's prayer: "Please bless us so Mom doesn't have to torture us anymore." (Time for school to start!) 7/5/10 Emma: "Where is that place that I've never been? The one I went to a little while ago." 1/8/09 Jordan: "I love it how the snow sparkles when the sun shines on it." 1/10/09 Jordan: "I don't want to have to go potty EVERY day!" while potty training Emma: "I love your face" age 2 or 3 Emma (wearing sunglasses): "How do I look?" Paul: "You look beautiful!" She puts the glasses on Paul, he asks, "Do I look cool?" Emma: "No, you look girly" 1/11/09 Christian & Jordan (to Dad): "A guy's got to do what the woman tells him to." 11/08 Emma to a friend: "This is my Daddy, he has curly hair like a girl but on him it's okay." 1/30/09 Sidenote: she continues to tell this to every new friend she meets. Emma: "I liked the music in that play so much I was rockin' out!" 2/12/09 Mom: "Jordan! I just can't keep your jackets clean! Why do you always get them muddy?" Jordan: "Because I'm not a girl! Boys like getting dirty!" /24/09 Emma: "Daddy, I just learned how caterpillars put on their pretty clothes to look like beautiful butterflies!" 3/25/09 On his birthday, I told Christian that he needs to stop getting older because that means I get older too. He replied, "You only look old when your hair isn't done." 4/19/09 Jordan: "I didn't know that burying the telephone handset in the sandbox would ruin it!" 5/19/09 We were telling Emma that her eyes look like Mommy's and she said, "But, I don't have those red squiggly lines in them!" 5/09 Emma came streaking in naked so we asked her to go put some panties on. As she came back in she proudly said, "Look Mommy, I'm not in my bum anymore." Soon after potty training Jenna: "Chocolee" (all the time, she LOVES chocolate), "buckle-ee" 7/09 Jenna: "Daddy silly a-gen" about 16 months Jordan: "Watch out guys, I'm gonna go speed" 5 years old Jenna: "Naker-good-girl" running through the house before bathtime. 21 months Jordan heard yelling from the bathroom: "Cannonball pee-pee!" about 5 years old Emma after the Dinosaur drop at Lagoon: "I wasn't scared, just my tummy was scared." 8/19/09 Jordan: "Is it against the law for dwarves to ride motorcycles?" 9/09 Emma singing in the backseat: "The face bone's connected to the tongue bone..." 9/09 Mom: "This makes me look like a fat cow! Dad: "Oh, no it doesn't dear" Christian: "No it doesn't" Jordan: "Mooo" 2004 Christian: "I had to change my my jeans because I had a wrinkly, foldy feeling on my bum." 10/18/09 Jenna: "Look at my pigs. They're perfect!" 01/15/10 Emma: "Mooommmy, my eyes are cold!" Jenna: Daddy, you have something in your nose. It's scaring me. 03/10
