Recently, when asked what he wanted to be when he grows up, he said a jet pilot would be first choice, a race car driver is second choice, and someone who runs races would be third. In other words, anything that will let him get up some speed!

Brooke your blog is great! You're clearly having all the fun of raising a family, including the crazy-glued injury fun, the kid obsessed with one kind of animal fun, the why don't I try to pretend I'm really SIX of me and do a bazillion extra things at Christmas fun--I'm waiting for the post on life in the quiet room at the loony bin kind of fun. Although the bad news is, women like us don't make it all the way to crazy. We just get close enough to look over the wall and see how peaceful things get when you really do tumble over the edge. Then we're DRAGGED back to the functional side of insanity - but why am I telling YOU this?? You're LIVIN' it!!
Jordan's the man! There is something about boys and speed. Fortunately for me, Matt has stopped speeding in his old age. He doesn't like to pay the fines and have insurance go up.
I hope Jordan gets to be a race car driver. I think he'd be great at that. What do you think, Mom?
